Purpose
The Smart Farming Crop Production, Management, and Processing is designed to further improve the region’s agricultural productivity by preparing agricultural producers to produce and process grains in the area.
Program Learning Outcomes
Upon successful completion, students will be able to:
- Understand the business side of grain production including marketing and entrepreneurship.
- Understand the mechanics of a grain terminal and grain processing.
- Understand plant science and food safety.
- Understand basic grain production including pest control.
