Advanced Science, CSC (221-190-00)

Purpose: 

The Advanced Studies in Science program is designed for those individuals interested in pursuing a career in the health professions. This program will enable students interested in health care professions to acquire advanced preparation for the health care field and to fulfill undergraduate requirements for many advanced health care programs. This certificate is designed to be taken alongside of the Associate of Science in Science program. 

Occupational Objective: 

Advanced preparation for further study in professional healthcare programs.

Admission Requirements:

Adequate preparation in math and science.

Program Requirements: 

Students take various general education courses in addition to science specialty courses. When combined as part of one of our associate degrees this certificate can help fulfill undergraduate requirements for many healthcare programs.
