AIR 116 - Duct Construction and Maintenance

Presents duct materials including sheet metal, aluminum, and fiber glass. Explains development of duct systems, layout methods, safety hand tools, cutting and shaping machines, fasteners and fabrication practices. Includes duct fittings, dampers and regulators, diffusers, heater and air washers, fans, insulation, and ventilating hoods. An additional career and technical education course specific fee of $25.00 per credit hour applies to this course. The price is discounted 50% to $12.50 per credit hour for the 2026-27 academic year only.
